Day 07 - Who’s your favorite Doctor? (Or, do you have a favorite asexual character?)
This is a fun one!
Favourite Doctor? Of the Doctors I’ve seen, definitely Seven. Admittedly I haven’t seen Two, Three or Six at all and they might be good. I’ve also only seen the one episode with Seven in it but compared to the other Doctor’s Sylvestor McCoy blew me away. The others… Four’s overrated in my opinion, Five was okay but not brilliant, and Eight… the less we say about the movie the better.
As for Nine, Ten and Eleven… TBH they were my first introduction to DW, and Eleven comes a close second for my favourite Doctor, even with the underwhelming series. Nine and Ten are all right too.
But my favourite asexual character? Got to be Sherlock Holmes! I latched onto the stories back when I was eleven or so. Found the complete works in a single edition in my school library and thought it sounded interesting. In the month I had it out I read half the stories, renewed it but didn’t get much further as life conspired against me. Then a couple of years ago I found a gorgeous special edition going cheap down The Works, bought it then spent a bit of time actually in love with that book.
Then Sherlock came out on TV and for once I didn’t hate an adaptation of something I love! Right now I’m impatiently waiting for the second series. It’s taking too long >.<
Anyway, I LOVE SHERLOCK HOLMES! Doctor Who’s cool too.
